Brief Biography


Thomas Alva Edison was born in Milan, Ohio in the year of 1947. He lived to be 84 years old. He became one of the greatest American inventor with only 3 months of formal education. Edison has obtained 1,093 patents, the most in history. Edison is widely known as the inventor that created the light bulb, but what most people don't recall is that he also invented the phonograph. What is a phonograph you ask? Lets just say thanks to Edison, you all now have i-Pods.
